Creating a schedule can be useful in particular situations.
Say your business is open 9am to 5pm. Then you can have it on full recording during business hours, and save disk space by setting it to record motion on the closed hours, and weekend, since there should be no activity when closed.
Click Setup, then goto the Schedule screen. From here its quite simple, just click and drag your mouse over days/hours, and it will become highlighted, then you can right click on it to change the options (Record/Motion/Sensor etc)
An example would be Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, full record.
Then set it from Monday to Friday 5pm till 9AM on motion, Saturday can be set to motion all day, and Sunday can be set to record on sensor inputs (alarms, door openings etc)
