Configuration For CLIENT Side
First download the client software from our live demo page. Save this file to a location you WILL REMEMBER! Such as the Desktop, or My Documents, or maybe you have a special folder where you keep all your downloads, remember this!
After download of client software is complete, run the package, and click install. This is not installing anything, it is simply unpacking the compressed files. Once it has been unpacked, it will create a new folder in the same folder where you have the downloaded client software. Go into this new folder, and run the Setup.exe, and follow the installation process through with all the default options.
Now that you have the client installed, it should create a shortcut on your desktop, called Tayama Client. Run(double click) this shortcut, and it will load the software. First it may prompt you about using true color rendering. Depending on your video card, and capabilities, you can either turn on or turn off this feature. If you successfully connect to the DVR server, but you can only see black video, but you see the numbers for running time on each video, then you will need to exit and restart the client and then check, or uncheck "Use True Color Rendering".
Once you have the software loaded up, you will be presented with a site menu. You can input the site name, IP Address, and ID(username) and password, once you have input those, click on insert. This will add the site to your list of book marked sites. Now just click on connect, it will say verifying user/pass, authenticating. and finally connect. Then click on OK, and it will bring you to the main video screen, where you can remotely view your DVR location and cameras. |
