So you've accumulated some videos, and the system may run a little slow. If you have no video worth saving, or have backed up what you need, and would like to discard the rest, you can format the video drive, and erase all the old data and empty the drive.

Step 1. Click setup, and go to the Standard tab.

Step 2. Click on the Format Button. Select Quick Format, don't select enable compression.

Step 3. Wait for format to complete.

If it complains that the drive is in use, it is still being recorded to. Go to the Recording Type Screen and turn all cameras to No Record. Then go back to Standard, and hit format again.
