Creating an AVI

This can be played on ANY PC with Media Player installed

This is compressed video, which can be played on different PC's without the need of the Tayama Searcher Software.

First you will need to go to the Search Menu. Click this on the main screen middle right hand side.

Then it will take you to the search menu. From here you can find the specific incident which you would like to backup.

To get to the specific time you can select it from the calendar on the right, or double click on the timeline numbers in yellow

to break the timeline down to half hour, and then down to minutes.

Bring the bar to the beginning of the incident, then click AVI on the right hand side, this brings us to the AVI creation menu.

If you have a cd formatted and inserted we can begin to save, if you do not have a formatted cd, CLICK HERE.

Now click on Save File, you can save the file directly to the cd if its been formatted now, or you can save it to the desktop,

or the My Documents folder, or anywhere on the system where you will be able to easily access this file. Once you have

picked a location to save the AVI to, give it a name, and click SAVE. You can also give it a quick description in the

description box for further clarification of the incident. Once you have completed all this, you can click GO and you

will see the encoding of the AVI file begin. once you are done with your recording, simply click Stop saving AVI file.

Then it will say Success to Make AVI file. And you have successfully completed backing up an AVI file.
